I was inspired by Animography and their unique approach to typography and motion graphics. They produce animated typefaces for Adobe After Effects, which can work as an individual glyph or part of a bigger system. I wanted to experiment with how I could incorporate motion graphics into my exploration of modular typography.  

 

When animating, I considered each shape’s movement and how the forms would merge into the glyph. This allowed me to create a seamlessly transition to the word, Lucy. I used my initial prints to explore how I could develop my experimentation and process further.
